It’s time to make your reservation for the August Afternoon Tea
St. Paul Branch AAUW Fundraising Committee hopes you will join us this year at our annual Afternoon Tea, Wednesday, August 8, 2018, 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the St. Paul College Club, 990 Summit Avenue. Doors open at 1:30 PM.
We are excited to feature entertainment by Erin Schwab and her accompanist, Jay Fuchs. Erin is a much-loved Twin Cities actor and singer, starring in July in the Ordway’s production of “Mama Mia”. Past Ordway productions include “Broadway Songbook” and “Christmas Story”. She plans to sing selections by Noel Coward, George Gershwin, and Cole Porter. There may even be a sing-a-long.
Before lunch there will be piano music, house tours, a history exhibit, tea trivia, and lawn games in the back yard. At 2 pm we will be served a delicious three course lunch from our Chef Christophe including scones and salad, sandwiches and dessert. And, of course, tea. This promises to be a delightful afternoon and we hope you will join us. Dress for a garden party and wear your favorite hat.
Once again the August Afternoon Tea will have prepaid reservations. Cost is $40 if payment is received by Friday, August 3. If you choose to pay the day of the event, cost will be $45 per person.

Please include your name and the names of your guests as well as the event in your message but remember if your payment is not made by Friday, August 4, cost will be $45. You can drop off or mail a check to AAUW Fundraising August Tea, 990 Summit Avenue, St. Paul MN 55105. Make checks payable to St. Paul AAUW. Please include your name and the names of your guests. Limited places may be available at the door for those without reservations.
The tea is a fundraiser for the Branch Scholarship Trust and AAUW Funds. A portion of your cost is tax deductible.
