Work Smart Salary Negotiation Workshop

On September 28th, Karen and David Kirkwood will facilitate a FREE Work Smart Salary Negotiation Workshop at the Highland Park Library Community Room from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. They’ve revised the National presentation to provide more focus on role playing of an actual negotiation, included more time for attendee interaction, and included a short break in the tight timeline.

The Highland Park Library is at 1974 Ford Parkway.  There is a small parking lot and nearby on-street parking. There also is public transportation on the Metro A Line which connects to both the Green and Blue light rail lines. The Library is walking distance from Ford Parkway and Kenneth Stop on the Metro A Line. For more information, or to see the brochure, please click here.

The workshop can accommodate only 40 attendees so it’s important that those interested register early. Registration is via email to Alta Oben, alta.oben@gmail.com, with a Subject: Work Smart. The email should include the name, email address, and phone number of the attendee(s).  If supervised child reading/activity is needed, the registration information should include the number and ages of the children. There may be a small fee for this to cover the rental of an additional room.

If you are willing to help in the child supervision, please contact Alta.

The cost of the $750 license for presenting Work Smart and the additional workbook costs have been donated by the St. Paul AAUW Action Fund and an anonymous donor.
